Bernett convened its first focus group in the basement of the Hayes family home, in Belmont Massachusetts, in 1970. The company continued to operate from the Hayes house until the day the 18 wheeler drove down the street and pulled into the driveway to deliver product. That is when Bernyce Hayes, the founder of the company, decided it was time to move the company out of the house and into a office building.
Today, Bernett’s facility is a 10,500 square foot state-of-the-art focus facility in the World Trade Center East in Boston.
- Room flexibility. We can set up our rooms to meet your exact needs including auditorium seating, living room, classroom, or conference room configurations. We also have a computer lab and a full kitchen.
- Participant recruiting. We can randomly recruit qualified participants for you through our dedicated executive recruiting staff, and maintain databases of pre-qualified individuals. We can also recruit participants for other focus group sites and tie your multi-market focus group efforts together in one report.
- State-of-the-art facility. High speed Internet access, digital video and audio taping, in-room networks, video streaming and video conferencing are available in every conference suite.
- Relaxed atmosphere. A comfortable environment contributes to candid conversations. We have a spacious waiting room, professional research attendants, and individual climate control in each room. We also provide catered food service from a broad selection of menus. Themed photo galleries help stimulate conversation.
- Security. We respect and protect your privacy at our facility. Onsite re-screening of participants, sound-proof rooms, paper shredders in every room, and private rooms keep your sessions secure. We also provide client entrances, and a private elevator
- Fully equipped. All you need to bring are your questions. We provide the rest: One-way mirrors, high speed Web access in client suites, computers with MS Office, printers and fax machines in every room, private meeting rooms, and private offices so you can stay in touch with yours.
- Digital audio/video taping. Select from a range of professional multi-media services. Use our recording equipment or we can arrange to have professional technicians record your sessions for you.
- Access to Boston Metro area. Our convenient Boston location is accessible from all parts of the eastern Massachusetts. We are only one exit away from Logan Airport via the Massachusetts Turnpike.
